Membangunnya dalam satu dekade, misi awalnya berencana untuk terbang dengan roket Soyuz Rusia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">Namun, menyerahkan peluncuran ke SpaceX milik Elon Musk, usai Rusia berkonflik dengan Ukraina, serta tidak ada slot yang tersedia dari program roket Arianne Eropa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">Euclid yang sudah berada di luar angkasa, akan melakukan perjalanan kira-kira satu juta mil ke titik Lagrange 2 di tata surya, area yang sama dengan Teleskop James Webb telah beroperasi selama setahun terakhir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">Euclid membutuhkan waktu sekitar sebulan untuk perjalanan ke sana, dan tiga bulan lagi bagi ESA untuk menguji instrumen pesawat antariksa, sebelum Euclid bisa mulai mengirim data kembali ke Bumi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Teleskop James Webb Pertama Kali Temukan Exoplanet<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">Januari lalu, Teleskop James Webb kembali mencatat capaian baru, setelah sebelumnya teleskop ini berhasil menangkap tampilan visual ruang angkasa yang lebih dalam kurun waktu enam bulan sejak beroperasi.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-large is-resized\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/user-images.githubusercontent.com\/24231101\/38481586-60ea1a90-3b80-11e8-8c1c-3d60a4309a73.jpg?resize=715%2C447&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"\" width=\"715\" height=\"447\" \/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">Teleskop James Webb berhasil menemukan exoplanet untuk kali pertama. Menurut catatan para astronom, planet ini memiliki jarak sekitar 41 tahun cahaya dan berada di konstelasi Octan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">Planet yang memiliki nama LHS 475 b ini memiliki ukuran diameter yang hampir mirip Bumi, sekitar 99 persen. Adalah tim astronom dari laboratorium Applied Sciences di Johns Hopkins University yang menemukan keberadaan planet ini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">Awalnya, mereka menemukan exoplanet ini ketika melakukan penggalian data dari Transisting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) NASA. Namun, pembacaan Near-Infrared Spectrograph (NIRSpec) dari teleskop James Webb yang kemudian mengonfirmasi keberadaannya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;Tidak meragukan lagi planet itu ada. Data asli Webb memvalidasinya,&#8221; tutur Jacob Lustig-Yaeger sebagai pimpinan tim astronom tersebut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Memiliki Permukaan Berbatu<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Tim astronom tengah menganalisis spektrum transmisinya untuk mengetahui jenis atmosfer di planet tersebut, jika memang ada. Kendati demikian, tangkapan data saat ini menunjukkan planet tersebut memiliki permukaan berbatu. Selain itu, suhu permukaan planet ini sekitar 300 celcius, ratusan derajat lebih hangat dari Bumi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify wp-block-paragraph\">Apabila nantinya menemukan tutupan awan di planet ini, ada kemungkinan iklim di planet tersebut akan lebih mirip Venus.
